Jenson’s career started early as a professional drummer at the early age of 19. He has encompassed a wealth of performing and teaching experience for almost two decades as a performer, drum instructor and as a composer. His unique approach to teaching focuses not only on the principal instrument of drums but on music as a discipline. His efforts have been directed towards educating and motivating the next generation.
Jenson posseses a BA (Hons), Composition Major, from Lasalle College of The Arts
Singer, songwriter, author, and Chairman (elected Writer Director) of COMPASS (Composers and Authors Society of Singapore), Mel has been performing for more than 40 years in the Singapore Music Scene. Conducting guitar (acoustic and electric), bass, ukulele and vocal lessons at Studio 72, Mel caters to his students’ individual needs and aspirations to help them achieve their personal goals and targets.
Shirlene , a veteran artiste from the Singapore Armed Forces Music and Drama Company, having performed for audiences of over 10,000 at major events including the National Day Parade and Chingay. She further honed her expertise as a judge for the nationwide SAFRA Ultimate Voice Challenge in 2015 and 2016.
With over a decade of teaching experience and holding a LCME Pop Music Vocals Grade 8 certification , Shirlene specializes in highly personalized lessons tailored to each student’s unique goals and learning style. Her professional background enables her to deliver customized, impactful instruction for students of all ages.
Haikal is a self-taught musician with more than fifteen years behind the kit. Allured by early inspirations from Rock and Metal genres of music, Haikal developed a unique style of drumming. Known for his precision, power, technicality and creativity, Haikal is a familiar face in our underground music scene, having contributed his talents to several local bands as a versatile drummer. Haikal now lends his passion and artistry to teach and develop a new generation of creative drummers.
Haikal teaches full-time at Studio 72.
Michael is a seasoned multi-instrumentalist, educator, and active musician with more than 10 years of teaching experience and over 15 years of active gigging experience across diverse live stages. He coaches both guitar and ukulele.
Armed with an ABRSM Music Theory credential, formal training in music composing and arranging, and a wealth of performing experience, Michael infuses a deep, intuitive musicality into every lesson. Having mentored students across premier arts and music institutions, he excels at translating music theory and stagecraft into practical, hands-on playing that feels natural and engaging.
Specialising in adult leisure learners, Michael keeps sessions relaxed, fun, and practical—helping you quickly play the songs you love while building effortless musical intuition.
With a musical journey that began at the age of 15, Chalmers has woven his passion into the fabric of countless events, from the vibrant energy of Gastrobeats to the grandeur of the Esplanade stage.
Through his music, Chalmers aims to ignite the passion for guitar in others, believing that the joy of music knows no age limit.
