Nineteen Eighty Studios presents The Horde | 24 April 2026, a live student band performance featuring musicians from Studio 72, performing at Nineteen Eighty Studios.

This live music event showcases two student bands from Studio 72, a music school based in Boat Quay that provides a platform for students to form bands, perform live, and take part in regular jam sessions. The event brings together both experienced performers and newcomers taking the stage in a public venue.
The evening opens with The Side Krew, led by bassist Aditya and vocalist Angie, performing classic pop songs from the 1970s to the 1990s.
Headlining is The Horde, a spin-off from the original ALFA band, which performed the school’s first live show at Nineteen Eighty Studios. The original ALFA lineup included Alan on rhythm guitar and Fui on bass. The current lineup features Tim on drums, Luis on lead vocals, and Xuan Wei on lead guitar, alongside returning members. The group spans ages 21 to 55 and performs classic rock and pop hits from the 1960s to the 2000s.
